You forgot to renew your domain name and it has expired. If the domain status is redemption period, you can renew the domain by paying the redemption fee in addition to the renewal fee.
The registry sets Domain's status to REDEMPTIONPERIOD when a registrar requests that the domain name be deleted from the registry, as its owner has not exercised the right to renew it for a further period. Such domain will not be included in the zone and have stopped working.
The domain can not be modified or purged; it can only be restored. Any other registrar requests to modify or update the domain will be rejected. The domain will be held in this status for a maximum of 30 calendar days and thereafter set to Pending Delete status.
You have two options at this stage;
(1) Contact us to pay the domain's Redemption Fee (Usually > $100) along with the renewal fee and restore the domain name to active status. This option ensures the domain name remains your property and adds to your website/brand.
(2) Allow the domain name to be deleted and then try to re-register it. This option does not guarantee the retention of the domain name in your favour, but does allow you to the chance to re-register it after deletion.
