"We’ve noticed a lot of spam emails coming into our company email accounts. Most of them are about medicine, stock tips, or contain inappropriate content. Even though our server has a spam filter (SpamAssassin), some of these emails are still getting through—and they’re quite embarrassing."
To help reduce this spam, here’s what we recommend:
Look at the spam emails you get and write down any common words or phrases you see often.
Make sure those words aren’t something you normally use in your everyday emails.
Using your domain’s cPanel (website control panel), you can create email filters that will block messages containing those words.
The server will then automatically delete these types of emails before they reach anyone’s inbox in your company.
If you’d like us to help set this up for you, please reply with the following:
Your domain name (e.g., yourcompany.com)
The name of the server on which your email is hosted
A list of keywords or phrases you want blocked, and whether they are in the message, such as in the subject, message body, or elsewhere
Once we have this information, we can create filters for your domain, allowing you to stop receiving these unwanted emails.
